Aster Group contracted JCMR Technology to transition from an internal Microsoft Exchange server solution to an off-site, hosted Exchange environment using Microsoft’s Office 365. Aster Group also moved to Microsoft SharePoint Online for organization of information for collaboration and better project management.


Reliability and Limited Integration

Aster Group was faced with addressing their approaching out-of-life cycle timing for internally hosted Email and SharePoint applications. These critical applications (Email in particular) began to run unreliably across the company. Additionally, integration was limited from both a network and client consumption perspective. Because of this, Aster Group was seeing an increased need for support as well as potential for downtime.


Transition to Microsoft’s Cloud-based Infrastructure

By switching to Microsoft’s Office365 Exchange and SharePoint solution, Aster Group now has reliable email communication and a central repository for employees to access information from anywhere, on any device. No longer taxed with questioning the functionality of the company’s mail server or access to important information, the solution improved consistency and efficiency of communication among employees and with clients, in addition to reducing maintenance time because of outages.
